Danyal works extensively in theatre, collaborating with other musicians, writing scores for live performance and producing recorded material. He has made chamber arrangements of operas for small-scale performance, notably Madam Butterfly and Pagliacci for OperaUpClose, and Tosca for a forthcoming tour of Sweden with Malmö Opera. He has also composed the soundtrack for Vidhilikhit, a forthcoming Indian feature film.
