Still the sirens
A new choral work, written for the same forces as Fauré's Requiem. Commissioned by Making Music, with funds from the Nicholas Berwin Charitable Foundation.
Scoring: SATB (occasional divisi), solo Soprano/Mezzo, solo Baritone, plus either:
- organ solo
- 0.0.0.0; 126.96.36.199; 1 perc. (timps, tubular bell in C#), hp, org; solo violin; 1st violas, 2nd violas, 1st celli, 2nd celli, double bassi (recommended 2-3 players each section, but can be done with 1)
- 0.0.0.2; 188.8.131.52; 1 perc. (timps, tubular bell in C#), hp, org; strings as per point two.
