Still the sirens
A new choral work, written for the same forces as Fauré's Requiem (OUP John Rutter edition). Commissioned by Making Music, with funds from the Nicholas Berwin Charitable Foundation.
Scoring: SATB (occasional divisi), solo Soprano, solo Baritone, plus:
- Version A: 0.0.0.2; 4.2.0.0; 1 perc. (timps, tubular bell in C#), hp, org; solo violin; 1st violas, 2nd violas, 1st celli, 2nd celli, double bassi (recommended 2-3 players each section, but can be done with 1)
- Version B: 0.0.0.0; 2.0.0.0; 1 perc. (timps, tubular bell in C#), hp, org; strings (same as Version A)
- Version C: organ, optional tubular bell in C#
